Territory occupied by our creativity
(REMINDER Call) ... Call for participation: Transforming the Saint Viateur east to a territory occupied by our creative imagination! A collective

artists and urban planners is being formed in order to collect and coordinate the works and an outdoor exhibit about the Citizens' Forum (April 26). We therefore call for a creative mobilization of anyone concerned about the future of the neighborhood to call the future together Mile End. Whatever the medium of creation (text, drawing, photography, performance, installation etc), contact us to coordinate these proposals and to disseminate through the citizens' forum to be held on April 26.

urban travel plan adopted and reactions
: The urban travel plan of the Plateau was adopted earlier this month by the borough council after a long period of two years. Councillor and opposition leader Richard Bergeron of Projet Montréal objected, finding that the plan does not go far enough and fast enough.

Recall that the Citizens Committee Mile End had filed a brief in support of the residents of the avenue de l'Esplanade seeking measures to ensure that their street is not a street transit traffic. The Committee also welcomed and supported the work of the House of Dawn, which has its own process of citizen PDU. This agency invites you to a meeting on the subject:

Waste Recovery Vs : our Recycling. Will it in the right place?

word from the Mayor

Dear Resident, Dear residents of Plateau Mont Royal,

I am writing today because the past few weeks, I received several calls and emails from concerned residents about the change of trucks that collects the recycling. Have no fear, Plateau always recycles despite the change of type of truck! Given that the recyclables collected are now "bundling", the "green" lorry separator is no longer necessary. Materials for recycling are carried in these trucks until Saint-Michel Environmental Complex in order to sort by.

Also, please note that major changes are coming during the week of March 30: The collection of recycling, which has always conducted on Wednesday, will be replaced by new schedules. In addition, it will be done by blue-collar borough in trucks that have been disinfected, cleaned, painted and it will be the private contractors who will perform the collection of garbage. A box will be distributed to all the gates of the borough to inform you of these changes that affect us all.

Plateau is close to achieving the recovery objectives of the Québec Residual Materials Management: congratulations to all and keep up the momentum!

Cheers,

Fotopulos

On behalf of the coordinating team of the Citizens Committee of Mile End, I wish you good weekend and Monday for our 6th and final coffee-citizen!

Prepare your $ 5 ... and remember places are limited.
